Responsibilities



The Staff Development Planner provides a connection between the Department of Staff Development and the schools. The responsibilities of a Staff Development Planner are listed below. Click on the buttons in the header for descriptions and details about each responsibility.

  • Facilitate and assist in planning the staff-development days in your school.
  • Plan and facilitate other after-school professional development activities.
  • Assist with teacher license renewal at school site.
  • Disseminate Summer Institute information, college catalogs, and other materials.
  • Publicize and coordinate the process at your school for nominating candidates for teacher recognition awards.
  • Assist users with access and functions of PD360. Please direct teachers to use http://pd360.henrico.k12.va.us/ and their email username and email password.
