Organization and usefulness are closely tied together. We’re dealing with huge amounts of information these days and that information is constantly changing. We’ve applied old methods to manage this information and we’ve invented new methods to as well. Keeping up with the new methods, let along figuring out which method (or combination of methods) to use is often a difficult task.

We’re going to look at social bookmarking and how it would be an advantage to teachers.

Social Bookmarking – is the next step both in managing bookmarks and in finding new links. We’ll focus on Delicious and how to use it to find, organize and share bookmarks. In doing so, we’ll explore the power of social networks and see how tagging and folksonomies work to organize content.
