HCPS Response To Intervention

Tier 2 Teacher
•Students not making progress are provided strategic support, usually in small groups
•Develop academic/behavioral measurable goals.
•Communicate with parent regarding student progress
•Evidenced-based practices for up to 12 or more weeks
•Collect student progress data at least biweekly

DECISION POINT
•Students who make adequate progress based on graphing results,  continue with strategic support, or are moved back to Tier 1
•Students who make insufficient progress based on graphing results, are moved to Tier 3

Tier 2 Administrator
•Conduct a thorough review of intervention data
•Provide resources and professional development for interventions
